Documentary film in the making

By Håkan Gabrielsson Our latest trip to Nepal was for the purpose of filming a documentary about the Badi people and the culture of forced sex-slavery and abuse they live under. Our goal: 1)  Illuminate the humanity, dignity and beauty of the Badi people, especially their heritage in art, music and dance. 2)  Educate about the desperate reality of those enslaved, abused and murdered in the brothels of India. 3)  Inspire action and stir souls to help abolish this extreme injustice.  For our filming we flew to western Nepal for a few days to visit the area where the Badi people live….

Out of the bondage as sex slaves

By Håkan Gabrielsson Since the ministry to save women and girls from the sex-trade started three years ago, hundreds of people have received the Lord and new churches have started in the area. Why? Almost all spoke of the love they have seen in the Christians and therefore wanted to know God. Men have started to work and the women have stopped selling themselves for sex.
